Started programming at age 12 in 1988 on a Commodore VIC-20. Extremely adept at debugging of all kinds, performance optimization, databases, embedded systems, operating systems, networking, testing and automation across a wide variety of languages, APIs and frameworks, high level as React/Typescript and as low level as knowing several CPUs assembly languages and designing microcontroller PCBs. It is way too much to just enumerate. Formerly worked at Microsoft in Windows Protocols and Engines team.
6 years software development experience.
JavaScript expert that can come up with solutions to complex problems.
Part-time Technical Writer
Javascript, ReactJS/Redux.

Html, CSS.
I am a passionate JavaScript developer who enjoys writing clean code, helping others learn, and having fun!
In my role at Veeva, I am an architect over all front end code, I am a subject matter expert of React, React Native, JavaScript, and Redux, and I have led several workshops where I teach others latest frontend development concepts.
For the majority of my career (over 15 years), I have focused on enterprise level applications primarily working with Microsoft tools & technologies. I've been working with Node.js, Angular.js, and other similar frameworks. In particular, I have been working with the MEAN Stack ([https://github.com/meanjs/mean](https://github.com/meanjs/mean)), and have become a main contributor to the project.
Software development problems are not too different but the infinite ways they can be resolved through new innovative methods inspires me. As a consequence, I have abundant experience in learning new technologies quickly. I'm very detail oriented, and have always had the ability to look at a project from bird's eye view and calculate how any change will affect the project as a whole. This comes in very handy when feature planning.
Rust Senior developer & CTO.
From Fullstack engineer, to system and protocol programming with Rust.
I have created a few large projects with rust, all are currently running in production, and converting all past projects into... Rust as well ;) I live rust, i breath rust, and I eat rust for breakfast.
I'm here to help you solve your programming challenges *fast*, whether you're a newbie or a seasoned pro.
Plus, I offer a **money-back guarantee**, so you've got nothing to lose.
I have worked **extensively** on **highly performant web applications** using the latest web technologies. I am **deeply passionate** about programming and this has manifested in my contributions to open source projects, free mentorships, and my active engagement and leadership roles in a number of engineering teams.
I **always** look at the **big picture** and I find myself always asking for *the why* before *the how*.
I have a lot of experience working across all layers of a web service architecture and I can navigate my way just fine in unfamiliar but similar domains.
If you'd like to discuss **software architecture designs**, **design patterns**, **data structures & algorithms**, **API designs and best practices**, **Frontend development**, **monitoring and observability**, **CI/CD** or any software related topics, feel free to reach out and we can schedule a chat.
I'm also available for freelance jobs. HMU!

Refactoring failing code bases/getting software back on track
############################################
I started coding when I was 6, 35 years ago. I'm as passionate now as I was then; but I've got a whole lot of acumen, and natural coding talent. That allows me to hold extremely large codebases in my head, even crazy-insane, poorly architected ones, and rewrite them over a few weeks. Over my career I built a solid name for being able to come into a project, understand the current code, identify the issues, and refactor the codebase, with low regression risk, while converting unmaintainable code bases to highly maintainable one's with solid patterns.
I _love_ that kind of work as well - if you've got a project in dire straits, and don't want to lose a fortune; then take advantage of my experience, OCD and my wife's ability to let me disappear for a few 70 hour weeks: you will never regret it :D
Let's talk!
#######
I probably sound arrogant; but I want you to know what a great benefit I will be to you and your project - I offer a lot more besides these tidbits here. Why not ping me on mail/roku slack group/linked in, and we can further chat. I _really_ like people _and_ computer software and I work on every project as if it were my own: as far as I'm concerned; your success is my success. So [get in touch!](mailto:george@tantawowa.com), and let's see what I can do to help.
