Data Scientist having 5 years of experience skilled in Machine Learning , Deep Learning , Statistics , problem-solving and programming .
I have deep knowledge of several languages and Library such as Python(Keras , Scikit-Learn, pandas, Numpy etc) .
I have worked on Classification , Regression , Deep Learning and CNN projects.
Mentoring to the new joiner in my project and taking cross-skilling session after every quarter.
During my journey , I successfully combined my studies with work and other commitments showing myself to be self-motivated , organised and capable of working under pressure .
I have a clear , logical mind with a practical approach to problem-solving and drive to see things through to completion .
From Chicago, completed MSc in Data Science 6 years ago in Scotland. Hobbies include sports, data, and programming.
I am at an intermediate level of coding in Python and have mentored various python beginners that I have met through Facebook groups, StackOverflow, junior Data Scientists on my team, and new MSc Data Science students . I work with many of the machine learning packages in Python such as scikit learn, keras, TensorFlow, various python visualizations, NLP, computer Vision, etc. Alot of what I like to do in my spare time is collect data via web scraping techniques, or with automated browsers, to utilize in machine learning workflows.
I have three philosophies:
1) First just get it to work, THEN if need be, get it to work fast.
2) Don't try to boil the ocean (don't try to solve an entire problem on first go, break it up into smaller simpler tasks, then you can embellish and add on.
3) You don't need to memorize everything, but you should be able to be resourceful enough and look it up/Google it. Find examples or tutorials that exemplify what you are trying to do, or the issue you are having, and adapt it to your personal needs.
Lastly, here is a video of a talk I gave at conference describing my MSc project. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3rbo3WoMME
I make the dumbest thing smart. I am passionate about solving problems with possible Machine Learning modelling. I am keen on learning new algorithms. I believe sharing knowledge will increase my understanding of the subject in hand.
Currently, I am working in Amazon, London on the personalization of Subscription page.
I was working with Zalando SE in the Pricing & Forecasting Team from May 2018-August 2019 and before that I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Zomato. My major areas of interests are Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing.
I completed undergrad from IIIT-Allahabad. Some of my notable projects in the Deep Learning includes Synthesizing Insights and actionable items from user opinions and reviews, Photo Classification tailored to Food search and Discovery platforms and EyeQ (Image Quality and Aesthetics determination).
I dream to pursue Artificial Intelligence as an independent researcher in future.

I've spent the last 12 years writing code for a variety of use-cases ranging from scraping data, cleaning and organizing it, analyzing and building Machine Learning models on top of them, deploying them to production and build a backend and frontend layer. Having contributed across the board, you will get help from someone who
- Takes a step back and tries to understand the problem before diving in to find a solution
- Worked at multiple startups and projects in the 0-1 phase and build large scalable codebases from the ground up
- Has experience writing code that scales well
- Has worked in various industries, multiple shapes and sizes of startups and can talk about what has and hasn't worked in the past

I have a graduate degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Seville and a MSc in Linguistic Technologies and Data Mining from UNED. Ever since I started out to work, I have been always very interested not only in Software Engineering and Development, but also in applied research. I consider myself an enthusiast of anything related to Semantic Technologies, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Text Mining and Heterogeneous Data Sources Integration. Currently, my research is focused on Named Entities Disambiguation against Semantic Knowledge Bases like DBpedia or Wikipedia.
As Software Engineer, I have been always working in highly innovative environments, both as a developer and as a researcher. When I face a problem, I tried to divide it in two stages: find an state-of-the-art solution and code it. To date, my work has been mainly related to Semantic Technologies, NLP and Machine Learning for Automatic Document Processing, gaining experience with many tools like Lucene, Solr, GATE, OpenNLP, Apache Mahout, WEKA, Scikit-learn, Spark, Hadoop and many others. I am also an Apache Software Foundation committer, currently contributing to Apache Stanbol and Apache ManifoldCF.
