I've been programming for over 15 years. C is my favorite language and the one I'm most experienced in by far, followed by C++, though Python is my second favorite. I'm comfortable with assembly, primarily MIPS, x86_64 and RISC-V. I have a little experience with Scheme/Racket. I'm also fairly well versed in modern OpenGL (3.3+, I have no experience with deprecated fixed function OpenGL). I am an experienced Linux user and developer. All my personal projects are developed and run on Linux. I've also been tutoring on Wyzant, both in person and online, since mid 2016: https://www.wyzant.com/Tutors/RobertW

IMPORTANT: If you want to contact me, and your timezone is significantly different, feel free to just open a session request during my timezone evenings (after 8pm till midnight). I've noticed that figuring out the request details via chat is extremely cumbersome. I'm a professional developer working on Application Performance Management in Dynatrace; currently stationed in Gdynia, Poland. I've done a number of jobs in the past, including Graphics Driver development at Intel, Game Development at Huuuge Games and other, potentially unrelated things. I've started programming wanting to be a game developer, so there's a huge chance I can help you with your C++ game project. I also know my ways around the low-level parts of C and C++. Right now my main focus at work is Node.js, so if you have some questions about that, ask away. I also did a fair share of weird front-end experiments, so Three.js, WebGL and stuff like WebWorkers don't scare me. And finally, if you need some tips about Haskell or functional programming in general, that's my personal hobby area. In general, don't hesitate to ask, as I always try to get the feeling for your problem so that we both end up satisfied!

I’m an avid programmer, passionate about code, design, startups and technology. Currently I am working at Amazon as Software Development Engineer 2. Before Amazon I was working for a healthcare startup named Practo where I single handedly created 5 microservices. In my free time I write Tech Articles, read, play games, participate in contests, conferences or hackathons, and write about what interests me in science at http://arpitbhayani.me I have created and currently maintaining lots of Open Source products/tools and libraries https://github.com/arpitbbhayani/flasksr https://github.com/arpitbbhayani/tripod https://github.com/arpitbbhayani/bucket-list I have been programming in Python for the last 8 years dealing in Web, Data Science, Maths, Business Applications, Automation Projects & Web Scrapers. Apart from Python I have also written lots of NodeJS code and have deep expertise in its runtime engine. I'd like to help you here, these are some of the things you can talk to me about and I can help you with - Information Retrieval and Extractions * How to build your own search engine * Data mining and Machine Learning algorithms and implementations * Statistical Analysis of Data * Data analysis and visualization * Web scrappers using scrappy or Requests & BS4 - Python * Any core Python concept - Data types, functions, etc. * Advanced Python features like Generator, Coroutines, Asyncio, etc. * Quick walk through and Python source code - CPython - NodeJS * Any core NodeJS concept * Building REST APIs using express.js + MongoDB - Web development * Design & Developing Flask Web Applications * Design & Developing REST APIs * Javascript, HTML & CSS - Databases * SQL & NoSQL Databases * Key Value Stores like Redis - Architecture Designs / Bootstrap a startup * Designing of Scalable Architectures (High Level Designs) * Deployment of applications and best tools and practices. * Configuration management tool - Puppet * Amazon web services I can also help you with core Computer Science fundamentals like Operating System, Networking, Data Mining, etc. I have also started several open source projects so I can guide on how can you get started with it. I also love to teach and explain concepts in the simplest way. Being a self-taught programmer, I know the difficulties and problems that each of us face when trying to learn and pick up a new language. I like to use the chat to communicate and understand problems first before heading into a session as it can save all of us from bad experiences so feel free to message me.

How does personalized G++ mentoring differ from traditional classroom learning?

Personalized G++ mentoring through Codementor offers a unique and effective learning approach compared to traditional classroom learning, particularly in these key aspects:

  • Customized content: Personalized mentoring adapts the learning material and pace specifically to your needs and skill level. This means the sessions can focus on areas where you need the most help or interest, unlike classroom settings which follow a fixed curriculum for all students.
  • One-on-one attention: With personalized mentoring, you receive the undivided attention of the tutor. This allows for immediate feedback and detailed explanations, ensuring that no questions are left unanswered, and concepts are fully understood.
  • Flexible scheduling: Personalized mentoring is arranged around your schedule, providing the flexibility to learn at times that are most convenient for you. This is often not possible in traditional classroom settings, which operate on a fixed schedule.
  • Pace of learning: In personalized mentoring, the pace can be adjusted according to how quickly or slowly you grasp new concepts. This custom pacing can significantly enhance the learning experience, as opposed to a classroom environment where the pace is set and may not align with every student’s learning speed.
  • Practical, hands-on learning: Mentors can provide more practical, hands-on learning experiences tailored to real-world applications. This direct application of skills is often more limited in classroom settings due to the general nature of the curriculum and the number of students involved.

Personalized mentoring thus provides a more tailored, flexible, and intensive learning experience, making it ideal for those who seek a focused and practical approach to mastering G++.
