Hi! Areas where I help people learning to develop software: • Syntax, structure, debugging… everything from basics upwards. • #define constants and macros, stringizer operator etc. • Optimising for speed, memory etc. • Dynamic memory allocation and its pitfalls. I was a developer for 16 years (Panasonic, Quantel, Nokia, McLaren etc), then went into leadership and management. I still love to sit in front of a page of code and work on it and see it come to life. I’m very familiar with all the joys of coding, and also with the frustrations. I'm familiar with whole lifecycle from requirements analysis to maintenance in field, so I understand the context in which your SW creations might sit. Beyond the basics, some areas where I can help are: • Differences between writing code at school/college and in industry. In industry, your code might be maintained and changed by a dozen developers over the next 10-15 years, and you can write code in a style which means it will keep working the way you want it to. • Maintaining legacy code - this is very different from “green field” development in that you might inherit 1M lines of somebody else’s code and need to get your head around it, maintain it, debug it. For 10 years I worked in a very large Defence company and ran the Mentoring scheme, so I’ve arranged lots of mentoring but I’ve also had many mentees and a few mentors myself. I’m looking forward to talking to people about code and how it works, passing on my advice and learning from you too. I'm an avid supporter of D&I so I enjoy meeting, well, everyone. :-) Looking forward to working with you.

Once, the writer Cora Coralina said: “Recreate your life, always, always. Remove the stones, plant rose bushes and make sweets. Begin again,” Neji Hasni has literally followed this saying to manage his life’s change. Tenacious, with presence, intellectual, leader, developer, achiever, technologically conscious, and goal-driven manager, Neji approaches each business challenge with his intrinsic flair for innovation, creative problem-solving and measured risk-taking to drive consistent bottom-line improvements. Neji began his career on a path that is rare among other ITC decision makers. Having earned his Engineering’s Degree at the Navy, his goal was to boost his knowledge with a strong foundation in technology. The best way to do so, was to continue his postgraduate studies and excelled in earning a PhD and (03) Master of Science degrees. As a professional, Neji demonstrated an irrevocable poly-expertise in his 33 years of working experience. Recognized as a high-potential executive, in 2018, his company, Nifty and Adhoc Service Advisory (NASA), was chosen by GHP International Life Sciences Awards Committee as the Best Specialist ICT & Holistic Security Advisory - North Africa. Besides, he was invited, twice, as distinguished speaker at the Healthcare and Technologies Conference 2016 in London, UK and 2018 at Dublin, Ireland. Neji is active in volunteering. He bets on it to acquire vital transferable skills. He believes that volunteering help increase confidence in meeting new people, being in unfamiliar surroundings and taking on new challenges. Neji’s humanitarian principles are derived from the core principles, which have long guided his work. Today, Neji Hasni resides in Tunisia. He is using his abilities to build relationships, trust, and rapport with almost anyone to creating partnerships and alliances for winning/winning business relationships.

I write code. A lot of it. And I've been doing so since I taught myself BASIC on an Atari 400 in the late '80's. I designed and wrote the games that were unveiled a long side of the world's largest arcade cabinet at E3 2016. Watching people play them was one of the best moments of my life. And I want to help you have that moment too.

“I had a really good session with Silvia, it was very informative and well prepared. Silvia was able to reply to all my questions and doubts in a clear and structured manner. Even though computer vision is not the easiest topic in computer science, she made it simple and understandable. I highly recommend Silvia to anyone willing to learn about computer vision and deep learning.“

“I had a great introductory session on FAANG interview preparation and Leetcode problem-solving strategies. Silvia provided clear explanations of the interview structure and outlined a strategic plan for mastering key algorithmic patterns and problem-solving approaches, including advanced deep learning and system design use cases. We discussed an effective study roadmap and worked through an example problem related to lung disease analysis, exploring potential applications of CLIPS and diffusion models. The session was interactive, well-structured, and tailored to my needs. Looking forward to more sessions“
