Advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. I am a developer. I have strong interests in educational technologies, code literacy (and literacy in general), and startups. I primarily work on the backend but have frontend skills as well. I am a writer. I am currently writing a science fiction novel. I have a blog that is mainly about tech though occasionally my life slips in there (or is it the other way around?). And I wrote my dorm's weekly newsletter the academic year of September 2012 through April 2013. I am a self proclaimed efficiency expert. I am constantly looking for ways to speed up the unimportant things in life: like finding keys or getting ready in the morning: That way I can focus on the most important things in life: my friends and family, and my passions.

I'm a Web and JavaScript addict who have worked intensively with Angular and Node for three years (I have worked with JavaScript until 1999). I have worked for more than 15 years in Web environments mainly with Java server technologies and frameworks before. I really love to share my knowledge and help people to robust and well-designed applications and also to fix their issues. That's the reason why I used to contribute and help people on the StackOverflow website on subjects like REST, Angular and Node and write articles on my blog. I'm really excited at the moment about the orientations of JavaScript technologies (ES6, Angular2, React). Otherwise I used (and I enjoy!) to teach Web and JavaScript technologies in schools. I have done this for five years now. I work at the moment for a company targetting Web APIs and both located in France and in US so I used to speak English.

I've done tons of work on systems and backend development. Highlights of my work: - Automated bare-metal deployment and management of Linux and Solaris systems - Built a cloud compute platform with a Flask API, Python services, RabbitMQ for messing, and MongoDB for persistence, powered by VMWare vSphere - Managed thousands of systems with Salt and integrated Salt into said cloud platform - Operated distributed applications on AWS - Tested/built/deployed all of the above with CI/CD
