How I became a TOP 1 Tradingview author in 3 weeks
Introduction
Hi everyone, hope you're having a great day. I won't write a long article don't worry
So let's dive right in... I wanted to highlight what sharing with a community of analysts and traders brought me those past few months
Let's go back in time 5 years ago
Back then, I got freshly graduated from a French computer science engineering school with a Master's degree in computer science and project management. I was referred by a friend to an incredible opportunity in New York City/USA to work as a front-desk Quant in a famous french bank.
As you can imagine, not all days were pink, unicorn and candies (not sure if that was english but you got the point ^^) but I learnt a lot about trading and what might interest you developping indicators/signals/strategies/bots for traders but also scripts in any language (JS/Python/Go/...)
This has been an immensely rewarding experience
Cool story man but please get to the point
I see you're getting impatient here . OK then.
I left the bank about a year ago to become a Quant freelance and develop trading/non-trading scripts upon request. It was hard to find customers at first as you may imagine as I was (still am ?) a nobody but slowly but surely I managed to get more and more gigs ("husstle they said, it's gonna be fun they said..")
To scale a bit more, I decided to give back to the trading community and chose TradingView as I know this platform very well and coded loads of scripts for myself, my traders in the bank and for a group of friends
I challenge myself every single day to share 1 script a day (weekend excluded... prince David needs his rest) - when the script is simple, I share the source otherwise it stays protected
The difficulty is to not copy/paste what already exist in my portfolio or from what's available in the public library. I'm proud to stay original and publish scripts that I use myself for my own trading.
And that's when the magic happened
After a bit more than 2 weeks, I became a TradingView top #3 author for open-source AND not open-source scripts. Useless to say that I jumped through the roof of my flat and hit my head hard on the ceiling...
The TradingView community rewarded me with more than 5000 views and 650 likes and lot of comments sharing their appreciation of my work
From that point, the requests coming from clients went through the roof - at a point I can't accept everyone anymore like before and need to prioritize (it's a new thing for me but I'm learning fast)
Where can I discover more about those scripts ?
I see you can't contain yourself anymore
OK enough teasing for now, here's my TradingView public portfolio. Hope you'll like it and find a few indicators/strategies that will help you there

Greetings,
Many are coming to trade delusionally, believing investing is a get-rich-quick scheme, just like a casino. Traders almost always lose money, while investors almost always make money. But this company - Thetrader https://thetrader.bet/ work well in both ways :)
Hey. Do you write scripts for people for money? Ie, I have a trading algorithm, and I want to turn the several indicators into a strategy so I can get alerts instead of checking al the time. I have detailed documents on my algorithm. I really need this thing published. Cheers
Weโre you able to make this happen?
