How to get the help YOU need on Codementor.io FAST!

Published Oct 26, 2022

This post is for the students struggling to get help for their specific problem.

If you're one of those people, don't worry, you're not alone 🙂.

You might be in a situation where you need URGENT in all caps help with your project, but the mentors you meet with tell you they can't help you.

The first thing to point out here is that if a mentor doesn't unable to help you find a solution to your problem, DON'T LET THEM CHARGE YOU. They should give you a refund. If they don't, create a dispute.

Beyond that, there are only a few things you really need to do to make sure you find the right person for the job.

When you're writing your help request:

  1. Write a detailed description.
  2. Select the relevant technologies.

That's it! Simple right?

But what if you've already written a post and it wasn't as detailed as it should be?

3. If you've already written a post that wasn't as detailed as it should be...

You can edit your help requests after you post them. Go to the dashboard, then on the "Requests" tab on the left side menu, find your post, and click the "edit" button.

HOWEVER,

If you created your post a while ago, your post will likely be a bit further down in the view that WE as mentors see, so

I recommend you repost your previous request

because in that way it'll go straight to the top of our notifications and notify us of a new post 🙂.

Also I'm a mentor here 🙂 I can help you with:

  • HTML/CSS/JS
  • VueJS
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Python
  • Django
  • pandas

and more!

That means you have to pay a three-month cost that automatically renews if you just need one connection. https://io-games.space
