BerkeleyX Data88.1EX — Fundamentals of Economics Certificate

You worked hard to earn your certificate from BerkeleyX — share it with colleagues, friends, and family to get the word out about what you mastered in Fundamentals of Economics.

I am doing just that. The cert is available here.

I never cared for certificates. Things change though. “Now we gotta make the best of it, improvise, adapt to the environment, Darwin, I Ching, whatever man, we gotta roll with it.”

So, I signed up for this program called “DATA 88EX: Economic Models with Python”. (more details here, on edx,)

It has 3 courses, the first one, I just completed, is “Fundamentals of Economics” (link here)

I have two more courses to complete, “Advanced Concepts Economics” and “Real World Applications”. I have already purchased these two courses. Once I complete this, the edX people will issue me a “Professional Certificate”.

All said and done, I do not know if the certificates are worth the money I paid for it. However, I am learning some stuff, and at some indetermined point in the future, I might actually benefit from these certs. So, here goes nothing.
