Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements. Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents and provide timely and meaningful feedback. Design, develop and execute automation and performance scripts using open-source tools that can be integrated into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs to resolution. Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions. Monitor debugging process results. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities, open defect counts, failure rates, etc. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. • Proficient in all the phases of the Performance Testing Life Cycle.
• Led performance testing and tuning on 30+ legacy as well as Web and Oracle applications that reduced response time of the applications on average by 10% and improved its performance by 8%.
• Responsible for creating and managing test planning documents as well as collaborating with client and onsite project manager to get client approval on the performance testing results.
• Experience in Performance Testing process including capturing the Non-Functional Requirements (NFR), preparing and validating test plans and creating performance test scenarios.
• Proficient in creating test scripts, test execution, result analysis& reporting and application monitoring.
• Proficient in monitoring – Application CPU & Memory Utilization using NMON and Database using OEM, HP Diagnostic, AWR Report.
• Possess good knowledge and experience in Flexcube Application performance testing.
• Experience in Web-HTTP/HTML, FTP, Database-Oracle, AJAX, Oracle Forms and SOAP UI XML protocols in Silk Performer and Citrix and Web protocol in Load Runner for scripting.
• Experience in Web and Web services protocol using Apache Jmeter .
• Proficient in Queue Based Application performance testing and tuning (like JMS,MQ etc.)
• Possess good knowledge on Oracle Database with proficiency on writing SQLs to data-mine usable data for Test Bed Creation and Modification.
• Experience on detecting Long-Running SQLs with the help of AWR Report.
• Has good domain knowledge of Manufacturing & Logistics, Banking & Finance and Insurance Domain.
• Developed Excel to XML converter using Excel-VBA , Image Resizing tool and Online Queue depth and Monitoring tool using Java to minimize data setup, Execution and result collection efforts.
