Tommi Laukkanen

I have been leading and developing over ten Java projects in professional setting during last 12 years. I have also participated in several Java open source projects many of which are visible through my github profile. I have excellent Java programming and code reading skills. I have good routine for refactoring legacy Java code and bringing it up to shape without breaking the code base. I am also well versed with object oriented design principles and software architecture.

I have been working with Server side through my development career. I am involved with user interface development in all projects as well but it is not my core competence. I have also extensive experience on administrating secure linux servers and hosting services on them.

I have been built and administrated professional Amazon AWS cloud setup with load balances, multiple web servers and Amazon RDS multi zone PostgreSQL service for 8 months now. We also leveraging multiple VPCs, Simple Email Service, cloud trail, queues etc. Before that I have personal Amazon AWS virtual machines for several years.
