My name is Alexander. With ten years of experience in Tech, in roles ranging from Full-stack Software Developer to Tech Lead and Product Owner, I consider myself a Product Developer above all. In my career I have built solutions used by millions of users in the public sector of Sweden, built a web-app which allows 90+ million Klarna users to see the emissions of their purchases and built a real-estate startup from the ground up.
As a Software Developer, I am used to rapidly learning new languages and frameworks to quickly immerse myself in new projects and deliver early value. In addition to my technical skills, I pride myself on taking the big picture into account in all my decisions, as well as facilitating good communication both internally and externally.
All in all, I am a team player with strong product and technical skills. In my next role, I am happy to integrate with an existing team to deliver features, build a new team from the ground up, or otherwise contribute to a great product.

The product offering includes end to end appraisal services powered by intelligent software which facillitates a faster more precise appraisal experience as well as a "Value Management Platform" which allows commercial real-estate owners to manage, predict and monitor the value of their multi billion euro real-estate portfolios.
As the first full-time employee I helped grow the company from 5 to 30 employees and actively led the product development of a software suite which manages the appraisal process for billions of euros in assets with the largest players in German Real Estate. Klarna is a leading global fintech company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Conscious of the impact it has on the market, Klarna wished to build a solution which allowed users to see estimates of the carbon intensity of their individual purchases.
As the first Software Developer in the CO2-tracker team I kick-started the team and product as the team grew from 2 to 9 full-time members. The solution developed allows Klarna's users to see estimates of the carbon intensity of their individual purchases, allowing them to take informed, sustainable decisions. As a founding team- member I:
- Led the technical requirements gathering and evaluation of third party CO2 calculation services and their APIs.
- Planned, designed and implemented the architecture of the solution, collaborating across Klarna's multi-layered purchase data flow.
- Built the actual product together with my team-members
At the end of the assignment the product was successfully launched in the Klarna app, reaching Klarna's 90+ million users. As of today more than 200 million products have been evaluated for their carbon intensity and shown to Klarna's users.
