Brought in to implement new structured development processes for a global team where the process had been fragmented and there was a lot of duplication of effort. Developed and maintained Counterparty Credit Risk Engine (CCRE) system, which uses potential future exposure (PFE) Monte Carlo based approach to assess possible exposure movements for certain derivative products. I worked with our global team to maintain the exisiting system and implement new features requested by the business. Introduced multiple development environments so that the team could safely test new features without impacting production. Recommended a suite of industry standard development tools & best in class continuous integration suite. Established a highly successful Jira tracking process for improved issue. Liaised with global teams to institute new structured development processes, improving efficiency and collaboration.

Designed and developed web interfaces and services for the Markit Analytics Portal, an application that allows traders to load their portfolio and perform stress testing, trade novation and calculations such as initial margin and CVA. Used C#, HTML, JavaScript (JQuery, Knockout, AngularJS) and CSS to create Demo / Proof of Concept (POC) applications for the Markit Analytics team in order to to gain new business for Markit. POC applications were developed either in response to client specifications or regulatory changes. Was the sole POC developer in the London office and so worked closely with the business analysts, project managers, financial engineers and sales team. The role required development of business knowledge such as risk measures and new regulations. Researched and utilised latest technologies and methodologies of web development and design, finding technologies I could use to speed up existing functionality.

Market Area UK IT (MA UK IT) services Private Banking with IT applications in London, Guernsey and Gibraltar. We have approximately 50 applications and 600 users. Technologies used: C#, WCF,WPF SQL. Created and implemented WCF services and made changes to existing services on a global front office application (FrontNet). Assisted in migrating FrontNet to an internal application hosting platform, was given the responsibility of coordinating and performing deployments on this hosting platform. Created unit tests to assist testing. Created a number of tools to automate processes in PB IT. Perform the analysis, implementation and documentation for upgrades and installations of a number of vendor applications used by PB.
