Thinkific is a platform to create, market, and sell your own online courses or membership sites. Following were my contributions:
• Defined the vision and led the technical strategic direction for the greenfield mobile apps project.
• Enforced and documented plan for best practises, architecture, testing, monitoring, analytics etc.
• Introduced development processes - CI/CD, branching strategy, git hooks, versioning, release train.
• Collaborated with executive leadership, architects, development, product, and designer teams to align them on the proposed technical strategies, and to prioritize and delegate the related tasks.
• Translated business requirements into actionable tasks, and led cross team delivery efforts.
• Actively participated in hiring contractors and full-time engineers. Determined skill set gaps in the teams, proposed new positions, drafted job descriptions and take home tests.
• Developed pipeline to build and distribute 12,000 custom apps using Fastlane and Semaphore CI.
