Web / Mobile developers are growing.

Web-developers and Mobile Developers are needed. But you must have a passion for it. I started to define a web-developer and Mobile-developer for some students I have who are still in high school but like to know how can they get started in technology. Technology can be so much more than just coding but some of my students ask me these questions I thought I would post.

FACT: Employment for developers is projected to grow 27% - 40% through 2024

1. Web development is NOT necessarily web design

One of the biggest misnomers out there is that web development is synonymous with web design, He says that development is taking the designer's work and turning it into a functional website.

Designers are the creative individuals who are focused on the overall look and feel of a website; while developers are the analytical individuals who concentrate on the general performance aspects of the site. Some of this confusion may stem from the close relationship between front-end development and web design. Many web designers also learn the skills of front-end developers to become more well-rounded. They mostly understand basic JavaScript, CSS and HTML (hypertext markup Lang).

2. You are never ‘finished’ with a website
   A website is like a plant that needs constant nurturing. Just when you think it’s perfect, you’ll find a glitch that needs to be fixed or an element that the client wants added. Technology is constantly evolving so there will always be improvements to be made. Think of it this way: Even if someone created the “perfect” website in 2005, that site will still look very dated and could have several security or structural deficiencies in the back end when compared to the latest and greatest sites of today.

3. developers do more than just write code
   The truth is that web developers don’t just sit and stare at a computer screen all day. While writing, code is a big part of the job, interacting with designers, illustrators, Business rules, copywriters and other personnel involved in the planning process is an essential piece of the puzzle. Knowing the business rules to each company can vary from company to company.

developers also analyze website performance and work with website stakeholders to prioritize strategic updates and improvements. On top of that, it’s crucial for them to spend a time researching new techniques and technologies. A good developer will always research the newest and best technology that will last in the upcoming years. Today's day and age, Faster is better.

We are always on the go. People grow from people laziness. The more lazy a person maybe, the more prophet you will make off technology that will allow a person to do less work or to do more work in a shorter amount of time. Another article I read said there will be over 1million jobs in Technology and only 300,000 people to fulfill it. Lets continue to give back to the younger generation as they give back to us. To be wise is not to give advice always but to take advice and criticism.
