Project : Pulse System – Talend ETL Development Technology : Talend for Data Integration (Open Source Versions –6.1), MySQL 5.6, MSSQL, Oracle 10g. Role : Developer. Description : Pulse a proprietary system providing advanced forecasting and financial reporting capabilities. We used Talend DI to pull information from various sources like SFDC, Global services Oracle database. This data is then moved to a staging area where we perform various transformations on the data based on the GS requirements and load the data into our Pulse database. Pulse application then pulls this information from the Pulse database (using SQL). Contribution : • Construct complex SQL queries with analytical functions. • Responsible to create and maintain Talend ETL jobs

Project: Lighthouse System – Talend ETL Development Technology : Talend for Data Integration (Open Source Versions – 5.2, 5.6, 6.1), MySQL 5.6, MS SQL 2008 R2, PERL, QlikSense Role : Story Owner/Developer/Lead. Description : This project involved building the Lighthouse database as well as the Lighthosue application to help drive PTC’s vital corporate objectives to have a strong and growing customer education business. This business is known as PTC University. Lighthouse is a proprietary system managing customer training assets and delivery. We developed Lighthouse to be a single repository of all PTC university applications. To achieve this goal, we use Talend DI tool to pull in information from various sources like Oracle BI/Financials databases, Google Analytics. Lighthouse is a reporting application which allows improvement of information and process management within PTC univserity. As such, most of the applications are visible to an audience of PTC employees, partners and are also customer-facing. Contribution : • Creating reports using SQL as per requirements. • Designed and implemented a Google Analytics data collection and reporting program to analyze the 240k monthly visits to PTC University eLearning systems. • Managed the development of the PTC University "Find a Class" application. http://www.ptc.com/go/findaclass • Co-developed, implemented, and supported the global PTC University service professional (consulting) certification program. Architected and built the associated information management system which services 975 consultants and their management. • Furthered the development of the Lighthouse applications, including the addition of the student relationship management module.
