Why I wanted to learn
I am currently reading "System design Interview" book by Alex Xu.That is really the best book with apt content for learning system design
System design has been the important aspect in learning design aspects for better security and vision for our project.We need to know LLD and HLD design in order to work on any project. I have also created design for our project work .
How I approached learning
I am currently reading "System design Interview" book by Alex Xu.That is really the best book with apt content for learning system design
For learning system design, i read educative articles on all the basic applications which we use daily like whatsapp, instagram,proximity service,chat messenger, payment systems and many more. i have created sample designs on draw.io. It helped me to practice those diagrams. I have taken notes of all design till now for further reference.
Challenges I faced
Challenges were to gather all the best content for this system design learning.There are abundant of content over internet but i felt educative and Alex xu book was more helpful for me.
Key takeaways
I loved creating system design and learnt different concepts over design.I also started reading design patterns .Up next i am planning for aws certification on solution architect for better addition of this skill in the market.
Tips and advice
Start with System design concepts.
Begin with small designs.
Relate with the use cases and why are we creating this?
Start with day to day applications.
Understand scalability and consistency importance for applications
What database to use in which scenario.
Final thoughts and next steps
Go for it ,start with one page a day and gradually you can learn.Look over different content whichever is comfortable for you,be it article,video or audio learning.Next i am doing continue on this completion of this book on system design and will complete educative modern system design concepts .
