JavaScript is no doubt the language to be familiar with when building for the web. I am experienced in full stack web development using JavaScript frameworks both on the server side (NodeJS, ExpressJS/HapiJS) and on the client side (AngularJS, ReactJS), to build multiple scaled applications for thousands of users. I have built a document management systems, game management board amongst other applications. I also have experience using Gulp and/or webpack to automate several build processes for JavaScript applications. In the last year, I have worked a lot in data visualization using tools like D3.js and Chart.js to sumarize and visual data driven results on dashboard of an application I am working on.

Test Driven Development is a must have. I strongly believe in TDD, as I understand the value of test writing in building robust, near fail-proof products. I am experienced in writing tests for both JavaScript, Ruby on Rails and GoLang

In over 3 years of software development, I have used n still use Git extensively every day as a version control tool. I have also (via GitHub contributed to Open source projects).

I have designing front-end static pages using HTML and CSS, taking into considerations cross-browser solutions and trying to cater for legacy browsers as well. I also have experience using CSS preprocessors such as SASS and LESS.

I am familiar with Ruby on Rails for product development. I have built a hospital scheduling application with RoR and also helped maintained a Forex platform which was built with RoR. I write testable ruby code.
