I worked in the R&D team and primarily on some OTT based android projects including one of the leading app in the local market. I practiced agile and participated in the daily stand-up meeting where we were keeping track of each one's current progress. I mostly worked on the payment module of the android apps. I worked closely with the backend team to suggest them to prepare a secure API so that our apps can perform financial transactions securely and at the same time prevent content piracy. To accomplish this, I had to perform continuous penetration testing. I also contributed to the overall app's architecture and more importantly the architecture was designed in such a way that multiple similar types of projects can be built from a single source by overriding some Gradle properties using flavor. I wrote unit tests and practiced continuous integration which made our codebase well standard. I performed pen-testing and the team was able to make the streaming systems more secure when I found a vulnerability in the streaming-encryption. I made a command-line tool for QA which could check all the contents and generate reports within a few seconds that a human would take more than a day.
