Menda is a comprehensive web app designed to streamline the process of contract negotiation and exchange. It is a multi-party, subscription-based web application aimed at law firms and conveyancers. It streamlines what is traditionally a laborious, manual workflow, and adds greater provenance of data, documents and communications.
Menda is built using Django Rest Framework and React, and deployed on AWS. It includes a number of third-party integrations for payment processing, transactional emails and collecting electronic signatures.
I am engaged as the technical lead of Menda Software. My duties include overseing the technical roadmap, managing the development team, agile sprint management, code review, and managing infrastructure and QA tools.

I worked as the lead developer with the New South Wales Government (Australia) on an innovative regulation-tech concept called ‘Rules as Code’. This concept involves specify legislation as machine-consumable code, creating APIs to access those 'coded rules' and building web services to help better deliver government services.
I was responsible for system architecture, full-stack development, dev-ops, user testing and presentation of results. I recently gave a masterclass on this topic to the Australian Society for Computers and Law (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnn8p8xaP1U&t=3150s&ab_channel=AUSCL).
