Carlos Villavicencio

I’m a software developer and consultant in Stack Builders. I have been working in the software industry for many years building solutions for the research, financial, gaming, artificial intelligence, and publishing media industries.

I had a short career with the start-up world. I was part of teams that won programs like Start-up Chile, Launch:Alaska, and OCEAN (OH, USA).

I am a community leader at my current job. In the past years, I've been planning and executing initiatives for events and social media. I speak regularly at universities and meetups about software engineering and best practices to contribute to the software industry in my country. I’m a co-organizer of Quito Lambda, a meetup focused on functional programming in Ecuador.
