Nikhil Garg

I was employed by Codenomad as a Senior Backend Developer. In that time I worked with PHP, WordPress, jQuery and Gravity Forms among others to create robust backend solutions for many different projects. What that meant was building, maintaining and optimizing web applications so they meet client needs as well as industry standards. Because of my knowledge in these areas I could deliver better performing sites which were also more easily expanded upon if need be; ultimately making both our clients happier and our business stronger.

I have worked in the Banking sector to expose myself for the financial services. I want to take a deeper dive into the financial institues to see how they run the industry. This has given me a very good experience with the Fintech work.

For half a year, I was a Junior Engineer at Stellen Infotech. While there, I became experienced in PHP, CakePHP, Imagick and JavaScript. Among my great achievements was creating a unique tool for VGCakes business with the use of Imagick in PHP. This project made me grow not only as an expert but also helped to make company processes faster and improve product range. The knowledge I gained from this position will serve me well as I continue down my career path toward becoming a software developer.
