Lead technical role, responsible for building out the TiiCKER platform, an advanced web application that focuses on delivering shareholder perks along with allowing users to discover new perks that align with their interests.

Consulted companies and assisted in meeting goals through technology. While working at Bulb Digital, I managed several client relationships end-to-end, including facilitating discovery meetings, researching and shadowing for business needs, architecting, and implementing solutions to deliver direct business value. Technologies used included: Significant AWS and Azure infrastructure, Dotnet Core, Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, GraphQL, Postgres, MSSQL, SSMS, SSIS, custom ETL, and several other areas of software development. Conducted cultural and technical interviews, built out plans for onboarding, and created skill development plans to further education for members within the company.

I'm a full stack developer at the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District. Specializing in Ruby on Rails and Ember development. My main focus is on an application called inQwizIT, which assists teachers in the districts we serve to effectively assess students on particular standards, through many different question types. One of inQwizIT's emphases is immediate student intervention, and equipping the educator with the information to target a lacking area as soon as it can be detected. I've built out an interactive interface for both the students and educators to have a frictionless experience as they go about their duties. This project, which has been actively developed since late 2011, has been under development by many people, and I have the opportunity to continue the development track. This has involved maintaining some existing BackboneJS code, while migrating some to EmberJS, working with countless Ruby on Rails upgrades, unit testing in Rspec, and end-to-end integration tests with Cucumber. inQwizIT has been an excellent project to work on, and it has been a joy to carry the torch, serving the greater Ottawa District Schools.
