I have been working in the web development world since almost the beginning. I have extensive experience both in the back-end and front-end world, and consider myself a true full-stack engineer. I love learning new things, and try to stay up to date on the latest developments and trends.
I also love teaching people, and have mentored many people throughout my career. I understand how overwhelming and frustrating it can be to learn all of this stuff. Sometimes it's hard to tell even where to begin! With my experience comes a huge amount of context on where to focus efforts and learning for the greatest pay-off.

Complete ecommerce site built to facilitate unique user interaction flow. Built the entire project from scratch based on Linux, Docker, Python/Django, DRF, and PostgreSQL. The front-end was also designed and built from scratch and uses Vue.JS for user-interaction, and uses SVG extensively for graphics and dynamically built images. Also utilized Brunch and Stylus with a custom BEM-like CSS scaffold. The end-result is a complete platform for marketing, sales and fulfillment with a custom workflow demanded by the highly customized nature of the products.

Built the back-end infrastructure for a turn-key VPN solution targeted at ISV's moving windows domain controllers to the cloud. The product is installed from the AWS Marketplace and initializes itself to a fully working system ready to route traffic. Uses Debian Linux, OpenVPN, Bash, Apache, PHP. Have also taken over maintenance of the front-end. Particularly happy with a system that automatically provisions DNS subdomains and creates SSL certificates for them so that it's instantly SSL secured. Also ported the product to Azure.
