I worked with the company's Developer (Jakub Laštůvka) to improve landing page load times on mobile. The challenge was to find the root cause of the lagging issue on mobile devices. The root cause of the problem was the site's scroll animations, and Jakub decided to use the AOS library to solve it. Also, I made some additions and changes to improve performance: - Add gzip to compress media-type files. - Add cache rules for media-type files. - Resize images without compromising the aspect ratio or quality. - Add Google Font preloads. - Use minified CSS and JS files. - Removed unused code.

The company wanted a website to show its products and services to its customers and to be able to change the information anytime they want. We were a team of 2 (a UX/UI designer and me), so we scheduled meetings with them to listen to their requirements. They wanted to be a CMS site (preferably WordPress), and we made pertinent observations about things we didn't understand and suggested landing page designs. They also had photos and images they would like to see on the page (owned by them), so we didn't have to worry about the copyrights of the products. After suggesting landing pages, they chose a template idea from a WordPress theme (Alchem theme), and based on that, the UX/UI designer created mockups of the site. After the client approved the designs, I started to program and customize the theme with the required specifications. Also, I did the domain configurations and deployed the site in production.
