Michael Mason

I am a passionate Full Stack Developer striving each day to improve my knowledge and skillset. I am a true nerd and I love technology but more specifically, computer programming, web application development, mobile development and video game development. Over time, I have grown to really appreciate JavaScript. From the time I first wrote “Hello World”, JavaScript has always fascinated me. I have become proficient with many different languages and technologies as result of my genuine curiosity. Currently I am working with the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) but I also have experience with Meteor.js, C#, ASP.NET and some PHP environments. In all of my projects I utilize HTML5 markup and with CSS3 preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
I enjoy working and collaborating with other developers. Building programs, websites or applications can be a very daunting task, but working with other developers has always made the development process very pleasant. It always takes a second set of eyes to find the missing comma that is crashing your program. I love programming because there are so many different ways to achieve the same thing. Working with other developers has helped me to learn a tremendous amount. I really prefer to work in a open and collaborative environment where ideas are encouraged and welcomed. The technology hub that is Orange County is only growing and I hope to be a part of it for many years to come.
