I love to learn and use what I learn to create innovative products. I have a passion for the full product development lifecycle from deciding what should be built, actually going ahead and solving the tough challenges to build it and then ultimately showing that product to the world.
I have had many software engineering experiences at different companies and doing so has exposed me to different areas. I’ve been exposed to public APIs, testing, distributed systems, user research, version control, configuration management, the rigors of building a startup and devops. My experience has also greatly improved my ability to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Speaking to the product manager at each of the teams that I have been part of has given me the chance to learn more about reasons for creating my project and the impact that it will have.
I love learning whether it be through uncovering new insights from data, trying out new technologies, life experience, or reading books.
At school, I’ve always chosen to take courses that I feel I can apply in my career either immediately or down the line which includes algorithms, systems, product management, entrepreneurship, databases and machine learning.
In my spare time, I like reading more about product management, startup stories, psychology and emerging technologies including those not directly related to software development.
Recently, I’ve taken an interest in learning frontend software development through building projects using Bootstrap, Vue, React, AWS, Jenkins and Firebase.
