I graduated from İstanbul Technical University in 2014. I studied Management Engineering there. After graduation, I started working in the field of data warehouse and business intelligence. I have about 5 years of experience in this field. I first started working as a business intelligence specialist at Garanti BBVA. Our main job was to prepare top management reports. I used technologies at Garanti such as power bi, sql server, oracle, sap bo, ssis, ssrs. After this team, I worked as a data analyst in the internal control team at Garanti. Then I started to work as a DWH&BI specialist at PayCore. Here, I used tools such as SQL server, ssis and sap bo. After this experience, I started working as a DWH&BI consultant at Digitallency. I got involved in the ongoing datamart consolidation project at Akbank. Within the scope of this project, we were modeling data marts for business units. We use sap power designer for our data warehouse conceptual model, Oracle for our physical model, and Informatica for our etl flows.

I am working in the data mart team of Data Warehouse Directorate. In this team, we were modelling the data marts based on dimensional modelling (like star schema) standarts and designing the ETL flows. We used Oracle DB to hold data warehouse and data marts, used Informatica for ETL processes, SAP Power Designer for modelling. After finished this project we started to new data mart project for call center of Akbank. We gathered the needs of the call center and we analyzed these needs. I was working in DWH team as a Business Intellience specialist. I am responsible for the following tasks ;
1- Data transfers from Main Frame to DWH system. For this purpose we are using SSIS tool.
2- Performing performance studies on the existing DWH system.
3- We are trying to meet the reporting needs of other departments. We are using SQP BO tool for this purpose.

I worked in the Business Intelligence team of the Financial Planning and Analysis Department. In general, we were preparing top management reports and institutions’s reports such as BDDK or Central Bank in this team. We used different technologies while preparing the reports such as Excel , Power Bi, SAP BO and SSRS. Oracle, MS SQL Server and SSIS were the other technologies that we used.
In addition, we were trying to find solutions for the data needs of other units in the bank, which are necessary for their processes or reports.
