I spend all my time in React. I work for a consultancy that builds frontends for financial companies. We build ios, android, and web apps using react and react-native. I've used javascript professionally for 5 years, but really began using it almost 10 years ago. I've seen all the transitions of javascript. I've written rest apis in numerous languages. I've even actually even read Roy Fielding's Dissertation on the topic. My current job doesn't have me writing many apis, but I consume a lot. I can help you understand what REST in all its different flavors. I can also help you understand how to make your REST api usable for other devs.

Clojure is not a language I've been lucky enough to use professionally, but it is the language I think in. Clojure is one of the most beautiful languages I've ever used. Code that I write in Clojure is always my favorite. If you come from a more traditional background and want to understand I can certainly help.
