I'm a talented Software Engineer with 6 years in the field. I'm a polyglot, which means I work in a TON of different languages. I tend to keep things practical and rooted in the real world. I'm good at giving examples of why something you're learning actually matters.. or a real, concrete scenario where I had to use a similar technique.
I work in Ads, which is uninspiring, but my company's Unlimited Vacation, learning budget, and awesome culture make up for it. (Which is why Intent Media was on Crain's Best Places to work in NYC for 6 years in a row!!!)
Some personal info: I live in New York City right by Times Square. I practice contortion and trapeze on the side. I have a dog that skateboards. I throw bullwhips in Central Park.

JavaScript is the language that I spend the most time in. I consider myself an expert. Since Intent Media produces plugins for sites, they have to be lean, performant, and well designed. I work in the lowest levels of the language. I help develop pop-up techniques (a fascinating and difficult process).
At Intent Media, most of my teammates *only* work in JavaScript and so I spend a lot of time Pair Programming with them in JavaScript to help teach them new concepts, debug annoying problems, or advise them on any projects/ideas they want to work on.
I have a few JavaScript Open Source projects that my company has adopted: bundl, feather-test, feather-test-browser, feathernet, and dollar-js. They're all on npm.
