• Selected to join proprietary trading unit of Sungard Securities- Assent LLC- and undertook to automate tape-reading approaches utilized by head-trader with two degrees in mathematics. Resold non-proprietary infrastructure to other firms.
• Developed and built a replacement for quoting and charting product used by new traders, to save firm $10,000 a month in costs.
• Made personal equity investments using special situations and event arbitrage investments in MRO, BP, PWRD, JEF and more for 50% net returns.

Created an IT Operations department and implemented service metrics for responsiveness as well as measurement, reporting and processes required to hit new targets. Reduced average response time by 50% and increased user engagement with the support system.

• Reduced management efforts to secure $100 million-plus worth of intellectual property by initiating a process that allowed management and departmental concerns to be mapped to an Confidentiality Integrity and Availability framework and operational policy. Led a company-wide implementation of policy and produced marketing highlights, helping to grow assets under management from 700m to 1.6b during this time.
• Lead 1,500 mile move of 20x7, $1.6 billion trading platform with no downtime.
