My most recent solution is an app that allow users to listen to audio books on the go. I'm currently building a career in Data Science with the focus on business.

I've used vb6 and SQL server/MS Access for development.
I started with vb6 using ADODB/OLEDB JET or ODBC for data management and connectivity in addition with ActivieX components for additional functions.
I've built applications(desktop windows) with this technology in the past, one of which interfaces with a fingerprint library to capture and process fingerprint and biodata information.
