I have programmed PHP in a daily basis for almost 10 years. I made the switch to working with front-end development and focusing on interfaces, but I still write some PHP every now and then. I have a lot of experience with PHP, be it procedural or object oriented, be it a framework like Laravel or a CMS like Wordpress.

HTML has evolved. CSS has evolved. Abstraction is as important in HTML as is in any other language. Reusable elements with little tweak in your classes may have a completly differente look and yet the same feel. It keeps maintainability easy and allows you to integrate a new member to your team in a snap.

I have been working with JavaScript since 2001, when I started programming and I have seen it evolve to what it is today: a powerful and complete language, able to solve the most diverse problems in any stack. I work with JavaScript on a daily basis, creating interfaces for complex apps or tooling scripts used by my development team. I praise for quality code, well-written and aiming for blazing fast performance at all times.

I've worked as a lead developer in R7.com, one of the biggest brazilian news portals, taking care of everything Wordpress Related. Wordpress is a great platform for managing your content and it's easily expandability makes it a breeze to install or create plugins to meet your needs.

Git is a powerful version control system. I've been using it for 10 years and I know my way around it pretty well. I've developed and implemented a few Git workflows during my carrer, managing large repositories and large organizations with multiple repositories as well.

Being able to setup your own server is as important as is writing good and maintainable code. Automating it to prevent human flaw and to make it easy to replicate the setup in other machines, make it the perfect combination between infra-structure and coding.
