You don’t need to reboot your router every day.
But it is wise to restart your router regularly.

How often do you restart yours?
and what router models are you using?

I'm wondering what the implications on the router device would be, if any.
Is there even a router special link to curl and ping so you can control these to safely reboot it. I know its specific to router device and the firmware of the router if they expose some API at all.

back in the old days, I wrote some JS code written in Greasemonkey to inject JS code and reboot it. it only triggers native JS button clicks and redirects.

What are your thoughts about the topic?
Do you fiddle with your router and code it up too.
