I have been writing code for over 35 years, over 19 years of it professionally. I currently use MS Visual Studio TS 2015/2017, and C# or VB.NET. I have experience developing multi-tiered systems using web services ,.NET Remoting, and WCF. I have also worked with Oracle, Sql Server, Sql Azure, MySql, PostgreSql and Sqlite databases. I like designing and building new systems or reworking existing ones. I enjoy creating reusable API's and refactoring bad code. My specialty is back-end services and database interactions with a strong understanding of transactions while supporting parallel processing. I have built extensive tools to speed the development process for database interactions. I write clean code and I can back it up with code metrics, code analysis engines, code coverage and unit tests.
