I've used Git for a long time now since switching from Subversion, and like it both because it's decentralised, and also because feature wise it's an improvement on and much more powerful than alternatives. I work on numerous projects a year, and haven't used anything besides Git for source control for 4 or 5 years.

I've been using jQuery since switching to it from (the then default in Rails) Prototype.js, and haven't looked back since. Pretty much every web application I've built since then has used jQuery, from minor things such as integrating basic UI controls and widgets, to more complex AJAX driven frontends.

I've been using Rails since v1.1, and have built countless apps for clients and myself in that time. I follow good coding conventions battle-tested when working with larger teams, and use TDD and BDD to guide development and deliver quality code. I have a lot of experience with social integrations, community and listing sites, membership apps, job boards, sites with a focus on geolocation, as well as chat bots, AI/NLP, and backend APIs, amongst other things.

I've been doing JS since before I learnt Rails, back then trying to wrestle with creating dynamic, vibrant frontend interfaces in ASP.NET. Most of my experience these days revolve around using it while writing web app frontends in React, or mobile apps in React Native.

I started learning Ruby at the same time as picking up Rails, but have taken time to learn Ruby as a language rather than just what I need to work with Ruby on Rails. I really dig the eloquent way i can express ideas in Ruby, and so beyond Rails, I've used it for numerous other things, working with other web app frameworks such as Sinatra and Padrino, using it for one-off scripts to help with tasks such as automation, my development workflow, or legacy data migrations, and also now efficiently building iOS apps with it using RubyMotion.

Started out my professional career building web apps with ASP.NET, and backend billing systems in C# also. Nowadays, mainly use C# when building games in Unity.

Built out a few different mobile experiences using React Native, allowing me to quickly iterate and deliver cross-platform mobile experiences.
