Moustafa Abdelhamid

I’m a senior software engineer with 13 years of experience in designing, building, and running software systems. I have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software that is reactive and scalable. I have a diverse skill set that spans beyond building software such as building and maintaining infrastructure, monitoring, logging and alerting and other production engineering aspects.

My experience as a data engineer includes building ETL/ELT pipelines and data modelling. I have worked with various data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, and BigQuery. I’m also familiar with machine learning concepts and machine learning technologies like PyTorch, H2O and Kubeflow.

I enjoy collaborating with other engineers and data scientists and I have experience leading teams and mentoring junior engineers. I appreciate quality code, transparency and teamwork and I believe that we can always find simple solutions to complex problems.
