Danny Lagrouw

In 25 years of working in IT, I have gained a wealth of experience with all kinds of methods and technology – and yet I still learn something new every day. That’s my motivation.

I have deep technical understanding as well as the ability to explain technology to non-technical people. I like to coach people and learn from others.

I have programmed mainly in Java and Kotlin (Java EE and Spring), TypeScript (Angular) in recent years; also in C#, Scala, Objective-C (iOS), C, PL/SQL, PHP, Perl and Ruby longer ago.
I have experience with a variety of subjects: from data modeling and SQL query optimization to image editing in Photoshop and building SOAP or REST web services.

In 2018 I founded Vollo, a company dedicated to creating the first open source student tracking system for the Dutch primary education.
