I have developed many react applications over the years, including the website for Hoopla.net, a gamification client side app. And also the frontend for a cell phone company website and application.

I have worked on the backend for Hoopla.net, a gamification service for 3 years. Undertaking a migration from rails 4 to rails 5, working along many rails micro-services, working with Docker and K8s.

I have been working on the backend of a cell phone company website and applcations.

At 10pines I work as a mentor for our apprenticeship program, where we have new junior employees take a 3 month course, in which they learn test driven development, agile methodologies, and full stack development. We generally use ruby on rails, spring boot, or node for the backend, and react for the frontend. I'm specially involved in the frontend side, where I prepare most of the courses, and lead them through making an application from scratch, using test driven development, and the latest best practices. I have also mentored co-workers that were transferring from a project with older technologies like AngularJS into the react world, translating a lot of terms from one framework to the other.

I have learned and applied test driven development in my current job at 10Pines, and discovered the ways that it can help thinking about problems, improving stability and reducing bugs.
