This role involves working on the company's flagship software product which is an advanced insight engine that incorporates an artificial intelligence system to provide accurate information on global conflicts. Led the implementation of the external facing JSON API using Laravel PHP and Elastic search, which enabled several high profile clients to integrate the company's data into their systems Implemented the text classification module and casualty detection module using AI and Python as part of the Natural Language Processing Pipeline. In this role, i worked on the company's online video medical consulting software: "Qdoctor" and the triage tool "Smart Inbox". Implemented new features on Qdoctor using Laravel PHP, Vue, MySQL. Worked in a team to implement the front-end interface "Smart Inbox" using React and React storybook. Smart Inbox improved the efficiency of clinicians in triaging effectively triage cases sent to their inbox through the eConsult web application. Took part in pair programming sessions to debug Java API micro-service for "Smart inbox" Implemented Reusable React components in React Storybook. Worked in a team to implement the two-way messaging API micro-service using Laravel Lumen PHP micro- framework for "Smart Inbox" which delivered emails and sms to patients. Implemented Unit testing in messaging micro-service using PHPUnit. Led the integration of AWS SNS in the messaging micro-service to monitor the delivery of emails and sms to patients.
