Why I wanted to learn gnuplot

I have learnt gnuplot because I needed to make good looking representations for my reports.

How I approached learning gnuplot

learnig from the little, plotting just some functions, after plotting data, plotting complex images between data and fitted funtions, with little help of other programs now I'm able to create whole videos of my data.

Challenges I faced

There's a large community behind gnuplot, that's fine but it is easy to get lost in that amount of information, after many years I finally got to understand a large part of the gnuplot world.

After spending hours plotting your graph, the results are just amazing. That's something that make you feel good.

Tips and advice

gnuplot can be sometimes frustrating, it is easier if you get help from experts. Of course don't give up gnuplot can graph almost anything.

Final thoughts and next steps

Gnuplot is not the most famous plotter, but as far as i know is faster than the famous ones, incledible useful for large amount of data that needs to be plotted. With the aid of bash and kdenlive you can make elegant and useful representations of your data and my next step is to makr it easier with better scripts
