Secure Your Web Servers Now
Beware the hackers are attempting to compromise your websites EVERY DAY!
In the game of security leapfrog, businesses are losing big tine. Here are three things I've seen in a recent upswing of attacks this year (from Russia with love).
- A flurry of compromised password break-ins have given hackers many dictionaries and lists of common passwords and even ids to break in with.
Increase password complexity rules or watch out. There's also some tricks you can implement that i'll reserve for my next article.
-
Vulnerabilities in packages such as CMS and ERP packages are more quickly attacked then ever. I became victim this year myself because we had a rather obscure package called Concrete5 installed for just 5 weeks and it wasn't auto-patched on one of my servers.

Custom software can leave open doors. See this article I posted earlier in the year:

Informative share!
Thank you, I read your article and link article in LinkedIn. I will study the protection of their sites. Tell me, you as a specialist should know this: does it make sense to put a free HTTPS protocol on a website or is it better to put a paid HTTPS protocol like an essay help website? As far as I know, this increases the protection of the site and google strongly recommends transferring all sites to the new HTTPS protocol. What do you think about that?
https/ssl [s good no matter if its free or paid, but the money is to make sure it is using a trusted certificate provider for all of your customers.
Thanks
