I didn’t grow up tinkering with a computer and came to coding relatively late in life. In 2017 I decided to become a coder after working as a translator and running an independent media startup. Within 9 months of self education I got a job as a junior developer in Warsaw and realized that the quickest way to learn is by actually getting yourself hired and building products for real clients and not just making a new to-do list app every day.
I love Ruby and can definitely see myself coding in this language for years to come, although I am open to learning new languages and frameworks as well. My professional goal for the near future is to grow from just a coder into a real software craftsman with a deep understanding of coding patterns and anti-patterns.
