Extremely professional, reliable and highly qualified data scientist. One of the best I have worked with, if not the best. Would definitely recommend!

Andrea has been excellent in helping me. She was fast, reliable, and independent. Her job was clear, and she did a major cleaning of the code, which was also important to me. I will definitely ask her again in the future if I will need a mentor!

Don't look any further! If Andrea is offering you help, consider it your lucky day! I had squandered hours trying to figure out some dense, unpalatable chunk of code on a math simulation until Andrea came in the scene, and asked me for "2 minutes", only to come back with all the answers I possibly needed. I hired her for a formal freelance assignment, and got two different perfect and neatly commented files ready to paste in the console and press return with alternative ways of solving the problem. She is absolutely amazing, and exceedingly kind in addressing follow-up questions. Thank you, Andrea!

My PhD focused on the characterization of molecular signatures of coronary artery disease, through the integration of genomics and metabolomics data. I profiled clinical plasma samples by 1H NMR (n = 2,000) and computed associations between disease-related metabolites and genetic markers (SNPs). I developed strong programming skills, as well as a broad range of quantitative and analytical skills regarding: i) univariate and multivariate analysis of large omics datasets; ii) graph theory applied to biochemical networks; iii) high-performance computing techniques. The work of my PhD has so far resulted in seven original papers (six as first author) and one book chapter, published in the leading journals in the fields of Bioinformatics and Analytical Chemistry. I also created several open-source software packages (available from Bioconductor or CRAN) to enhance the use of the methods and visualization tools developed as part of my PhD.
