I work in a remote and international team. My job is implementing data-based solutions focusing on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of QuintoAndar’s search functionality. Also, I need to understand how the product works for discussing metrics, proposing solutions, formulating impactful recommendations, and contributing to strategic business decisions. With this I can improve the search performance and user experience, directly impacting customer satisfaction and engagement. In particular, I focus on the following tasks: - Definition and validation of hypotheses for data products; - Data collection and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) in large datasets; - Modeling and evaluation of Machine Learning models for Search Ranking; - Deployment and monitoring of Machine Learning models in production; - Designing and analysis of online experiments; - Documentation and presentation of data findings and experiment outcomes clearly and understandably to technical and non-technical stakeholders; - Design review of new data product initiatives.

- Develop scientific projects together with other researchers, focusing on Urban Computing and Internet of Things (IoT); - Keeping up with new scientific and technological trends on Geographic Data Science focusing on Urban Computing and Internet of Things; - Instruct Samsung Ocean's students in introductory courses on Web Scraping, Machine Learning, and Geospatial Analysis.
