I work full time primarily as a WordPress developer. At my current employer I've greatly innovated our practices by developing IronStrap, a successor to our former WordPress framework. It now serves as a basis for every custom site we build. I've built numerous plugins for the company as well. I'm always up to date on best practices since I work in WordPress almost every day and I love sharing my experience with anyone who wants to learn.

HTML and CSS have been my bread and butter for the last 4 years. I've learned a lot of valuable lessons concerning best practices with them. I'm experienced not only in the basics but also in advanced uses of HTML and CSS including CSS pre processors, gulp automation, CSS naming conventions, and more. I look forward to pointing anyone in the right direction on these topics.

I remember very vividly setting up my first Linux installation. I had nobody to help me - it took literal weeks for me to get a webserver running. Today, I work with Linux servers constantly. It's a fun and rewarding experience to be able to fluently use the terminal and even script tasks. I can teach anything from basic terminal usage to setting up a LAMP stack on Debian based distros.

I've worked on a fair amount of Laravel projects over the last couple of years, ranging from personal projects to large scale enterprise applications. I first discovered Laravel when I was looking for a way to rebuild a high traffic WordPress site I had built for the gamer community. I found it's organized and efficient methodology incredibly appealing. Laravel is absolutely a growing interest of mine and I'd be ecstatic to introduce more people involved in it.

I've worked with JavaScript for most of my career, largely paired with WordPress sites to create animations or to accomplish other aesthetic goals. I've worked with jQuery quite a bit as well. If you need guidance learning the basics of JavaScript or jQuery I'd love to help.
