I was a long time Godaddy customer, but over the years, their service degraded, their CEO was exposed as a trophy hunting elephant killer, and I wanted to drop their service but had too many domains and sites tied up with them. Also, I had no idea where to go.

Then, while talking with one of their tech support reps during a recent outage, he made an unauthorized change to my account that caused irrepairable damage to my company site. That was the last straw. I vowed to make the move, and I did - that weekend.

Unlike Godaddy, I discovered, Google Cloud is cheaper, and my site is virtualized, so that if the underlying hardware goes down or needs to be serviced, the VM for my site is automatically moved to another machine with no interruption. It is also orders of magnitude faster than Godaddy.

If you are stuck in a similar situation and would like help freeing your Wordpress site from Godaddy, I can help you do it. I'll work with you to make sure that everything is moved over and running smoothly.
